PJSC "Poltava Diamond Tools" is actively developing new products.

Diamond dressing sticks:

Poltava now produces diamond dressing sticks that have the advantages of synthetic and natural diamond but without their characteristic weaknesses because of the use of synthetic PCD.

Testing of the new sticks was performed at a number of factories in Russia and Ukraine and has confirmed their high wear resistance and the stability of the dressing process during use.  Due to the uniformity of the diamond crystal's cross section on the work surface, the new sticks work effectively until they are totally worn down.

The new dressing sticks can be used to dress abrasive wheels with a hardness of F to L.   The sticks are produced with diamonds in layers as well as in the center.  Sticks with diamonds in the center are especially useful for precision profile dressing thanks to the exact orientation of the crysal and its small cross section.

Resin Bond CBN wheels:

In the beginning of 2006 the company began production of wheels made with cubic boron nitride for steel grinding.  The primary uses of the wheels are the sharpening of cutting tools made from high-speed steel and the grinding of work pieces made from hardened, heat-resistant and high alloy steels.

This new product provides high productivity in steel grinding with and without coolant.  In comparison with wheels made with conventional abrasive materials, resin-bond CBN wheels last longer, hardly require any dressing, keep their shape, and allow steel to be ground without heat damage to the work piece.

Poltava's wheels have been tested successfully at the factory and at customer production sites.

Poltava can make CBN wheels in the same sizes and shapes as it makes diamond wheels.
